  • Aaron K. Styer, MD

    Dr. Aaron K. Styer is a reproductive endocrinologist, founding partner, and co-medical director of CCRM Boston. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and the subspecialty, reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He has been honored with the Most Compassionate Doctor Award, Patient’s Choice Award, and Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award by his patients and peers. Dr. Styer’s primary goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care based upon attention to detail, accurate diagnosis, and empathy to the stressors of infertility. He favors a collaborative and responsive approach to select the most ideal treatment options based upon your unique circumstances. With his clinical expertise and warm, personable manner, Dr. Styer aims to use innovative technology at CCRM to personalize your care. Dr. Styer received his undergraduate degree in biology from Duke University and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed residency in the Harvard Integrated Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He completed a clinical fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at MGH/Harvard Medical School, and previously practiced at MGH for more than a decade. He is a staff physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Newton Wellesley Hospital and is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. He is active nationally in patient outcomes research, in patient education, and serves on several committees in reproductive medicine which direct national clinical care standards. He is the Vice Chair of Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology Clinical Online Reporting System (SART-CORS) research committee and is an active member of the Task Force of the Practice Committee and Patient Education Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). He serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), where he examines physicians seeking board certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Styer is nationally recognized for his expertise, research, and invited lectures in elective single embryo transfer, predictors of IVF success, egg donation, and fertility outcomes in women with uterine fibroids and endometriosis. Dr. Styer has been named Castle Connolly 2018 Top Doctor in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. He has published more than 75 original abstracts, research articles, review articles, invited editorials, and book chapters (Dr. Styer’s publications are available on PubMed). He has been interviewed locally and nationally in the Boston Globe, Boston.com, The New York Times, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, Allure, and Self for topics regarding infertility, pregnancy, and endometriosis.   • Alison Zimon, MD

    Dr. Alison Zimon is the Co-Founder and Co-Medical Director of CCRM Boston. She is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to her role at CCRM Boston, Dr. Zimon is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and is a Staff Physician in OB/GYN at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Newton Wellesley Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Zimon completed her residency for Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Prior to co-founding CCRM Boston, Dr. Zimon served as a Reproductive Endocrinologist for 10 years at Boston IVF where she received the highest scores in patient satisfaction, fertility treatment success rates and teaching effectiveness. Dr. Zimon has authored numerous publications for leading peer-reviewed journals, including Fertility and Sterility and Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has led several research ventures aimed at enhancing options for fertility patients via program initiatives and innovation. She is on the Executive Board of the New England Fertility Society and defines national practice guidelines through serving on the Practice Bulletin Committee of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also is on the national Resolve Physicians Council and is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has been featured in the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, WHRI CBS, Reader’s Digest and Boston.com. She has been named a Boston Magazine 2017 Top Doctor and a Castle Connolly 2018 Top Doctor in Reproductive Endocrinology.
